Denver’s Biggest Events for November 2022

Denver Film Festival (Nov. 2–13, 2022) – The largest film festival in the Rocky Mountain region brings international cinema, filmmakers, virtual reality, immersive experiences and creative conversations to Colorado. Events will take place all over town.

‘The Crown Live!’ (Nov. 2–20, 2022) – Two actors reimagine the story of how Elizabeth Windsor became Queen Elizabeth II (and recreate the resplendent Netflix show) in 80 minutes of frenetic hat-passing, period accents and corgi impressions.

Denver Arts Week (Nov. 4–12, 2022) – Celebrate The Mile High City’s arts and culture scene with hundreds of events around the city. Explore vibrant art districts, check out museum exhibitions and outdoor sculptures, indulge in the performing arts, be inspired at film and literary events, and even buy some art of your own!

Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros (Nov. 4–5, 2022) – See a founding member of the Grateful Dead perform along the Wolfpack. This is a rare opportunity to see a living legend at the intimate Mission Ballroom.

Georgia O’Keeffe: Photographer (Thru Nov. 6) – At Denver Art Museum, see a trove of newly identified photographs by the groundbreaking artist to Colorado in summer 2022 in an exhibition organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, with the collaboration of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Santa Fe. The presentation reveals a new aspect of the modernist artist’s career through nearly 100 photographs.

Smashing Pumpkins (Nov. 7, 2022) – The alt-rock band, along with special guest Jane’s Addiction, will perform live at Ball Arena.

The Polar Express™ Train Ride (Nov. 11–Dec. 23, 2022) – Ride to the North Pole aboard vintage coaches, pulled by an authentic, coal-fired steam locomotive. Visit with Santa and delight as he hands you “The First Gift of Christmas!” Always a sell-out, you’ll want to book early.

Denver Fashion Week – Fall (Nov. 12–20, 2022) – One of America’s fastest-growing fashion platforms is back again for fall 2022. Collections from local, national and international designers will range from streetwear, activewear, lifestyle, kids and sustainability to high fashion.

Carrie Underwood (Nov. 15, 2022) – The country superstar will perform live at Ball Arena as part of the “Denim and Rhinestones” tour.

‘My Fair Lady’ (Nov. 15–27, 2022) – Boasting such classic songs as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live,” My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor, who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

Unseen Oceans (Nov. 18, 2022–April 9, 2023) – With modern robotics and satellite monitoring, scientists are revealing the unseen habitats of the oceans’ most mysterious animals and mapping remote areas in unprecedented detail. See the exhibition at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

‘A Christmas Carol’ (Nov. 18–Dec. 24, 2022) – Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, the DCPA Theatre Company’s “blessedly exhilarating!” (Westword) production illuminates the meaning of the holiday season in a way that has resonated for generations.

‘The Nutcracker’ (Nov. 26–Dec. 24, 2022) – Featuring breathtaking new sets and costumes for the second year, Colorado Ballet invites you to follow Clara and her Nutcracker prince on the sweet, snow-dusted adventure only Tchaikovsky could score.

Mile High Holidays (November–January) – This holiday season, Denver will twinkle with millions of lights all across the city.
